Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

India is a country where we respect every religion and celebrate every festival. Ganesh Chaturthi is the Hindu festival that reveres God Ganesha which typically falls in the month of August or September. The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesha clay idols privately in homes or public ally on elaborate pandals.
At home,Families decorate a small, clean portion of the house with flowers and other colourful items before installing the idol. When the Murti is installed, it and its shrine are decorated with flowers and other  materials. Modak is believed to be the favorite food of Ganesha. The festival celebrates him the God of good beginnings, prosperity and obstacle remover. It is believed that God Ganesha as Vighanharta removes all the problems and bless you with happiness.

The festival ends on tenth day, wherein the idol is taken to be immersed in water with music and enchants. This is called visarjan. The colour or gulaal is put on faces to add to celebration.
Lots n lots of idols are immersed in water creating water pollution. So, we all should use eco-friendly Ganesha idol to save the environment. Be aware, Enjoy the festival and Save the Environment.
